Designing successful fire stations for tight sites with difficult site conditions is a hallmark of Dockery Architecture.  This is certainly demonstrated in the Bexar County ESD No. 11, Fire Station #141.  The long narrow site presented challenges for separating secured areas from public access and for internal organization to facilitate immediate access by first responders to the apparatus.   This 13,000 square foot facility includes many state-of-the-art installations including bi-fold apparatus doors, alerting systems, and noxious fume control.
